Dr. Kamolratn Chureesampant holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Kasetsart University (2004), an MS degree in GIS and Remote Sensing from the Asian Institute of Technology (2006), and a Ph.D. in Urban and Environmental Engineering from Kyoto University (2012). She is a GIS and remote sensing specialist with over 10 years of professional experience at EGAT. Her responsibilities include coordinating GIS-related activities and initiatives, developing spatial databases, conducting geoprocessing analyses and GIS modeling, creating GIS applications through programming, and providing expert advice on spatial data and information. Her research interests focus on remote sensing image processing, particularly synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and polarimetric SAR imagery for classification and change detection applications.
