Unacceptable behaviors include: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or degrading speech or actions, microaggressions, hate speech (sexist, racist, ableist, discrimination based on age, physical appearance, language, among others) by any participant in our community. Unacceptable behavior from a person belonging to the community will not be tolerated. This includes sponsors, companions, and anyone who has any type of decision-making authority. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply with the request immediately.
If a community member engages in unacceptable behavior, the community organizing team may take action they deem appropriate. This may include a temporary ban or permanent expulsion from the community without notice (and without refund), request for an apology or mediation between the affected person. These actions will also be reported to the OSGeo Code of Conduct committee.
If you witness or are the victim of any unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify the organizing committee as soon as possible.
