OSGeo Thailand Local Chapter, Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) and alliance partners are pleased to host of FOSS4G-ASIA 2024 which will be held at SWU, Bangkok, Thailand.
The FOSS4G community in Thailand has the unique distinction of hosting the first “Free/Libre and Open Source Software for Geoinformatics: GIS-GRASS Users Conference” in Bangkok in 2004. The OSGeo Thailand Chapter (OSGeo.TH), established in 2006 was one of the earliest official Local Chapter of the OSGeo Foundation.
OSGeo.TH was also instrumental in organizing the first FOSS4G-Asia in Bangkok in 2014 which was also a celebration of 10 years since the first “Free/Libre and Open Source Software for Geoinformatics: GIS-GRASS Users Conference“. Over the past 2 decades, OSGeo.TH has fostered a vibrant FOSS4G community and organizes annual FOSS4-Thailand events.
